What Causes Sore Throat And Small Bump On Neck After Having Unsafe Sex?
What is the probability of a woman contracting hiv after a one night stand with unknown man? Recently had sex ( though he pulled out before ejaculation) and worried as we didnt use any protection for oral sex or the intercourse. I had a sore throat the following day/2days after ( though I had a cold the previous week and I was walking home in socks whilst drunk the night I had sex) and i am convinced I have HIV. I also have a tiny lump, size of a pimple on one side of my neck ( I ve had it for almost a year). Drs checked it around 9 months ago ( 2 separate drs weeks apart) and said it was nothing to worry about but because it is still here I was worried its underlying HIV from previous drunken nights that memory has failed me with. Any advice greatly appreciated! Thank you

I doubt we should suspect HIV this early and from what you have described. Here is my advise:
+Stop drinking
+Do not get so inebriated that you do not know what you are doing
+Get a HIV DUO test conducted 28 days from the time of the last sexual contact to accurately rule out HIV and your fear
