What Causes Sore Throat, Headache And Swollen Tonsils?

My 19 year old daughter has had a sore throat for 5 days. She had a strep test and it was negative. She has had a pounding headache, pain down her spine and her tonsils are big time swollen and white blotches. Her neck is also sore. Should I take her to the hospital?

it is pharingitis invoving infection of tonsil. there may be fever body achae due to it. start warm saline gurgling, ezythrocin 500mg for 3days. paracetamol tab let for fever. can consult ent doctor for examination and advise.
