What Causes Sore Throat, Swollen Glands Under Chin, Blocked Nose And Ears?

Hello, I was given a methylprednisone dose pack 4mg for a trip I took to ireland (just in case) I never ended up needing them, so they have remained at my home. Yesterday evening, I began getting a stuffed up nose, so bad that no air could get through. I bought a nasal wash and attempted to clean the passage myself, no real luck. This morning I had to call off work for the first time in a year due to my nose being stuffed, very sore throat, swollen glands under my chin, ears plugged up, and pressure on my eyes. I have used methylprednisone before for these exact symptoms. Any advice?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you were prescribed them previously for this set of symptoms then they can be used.

In addition, steam inhalation and applying warm compresses to the face would also help improve drainage.
You can also try oral and topical decongestants to see if this would also help you. These would be available over the counter

I hope this helps
