What Causes Sore Throat When Diagnosed With Mononucleosis?
my daughter has been diagnosised with mono. She started with a very sore throat which lead to the discovery. She has missed over a week of school currently. She went yesterday and is now home again with congestion, sneezing, coughing and the sore throat again. Do I take her back to be seen???
Hello! I have been through your question. Related your concern I think that your daughter recently could have a viral situation( flu) not related with EBV. I suggest to meet a doctor if your daughter has these symptoms more than 3-4 days and high fever in order to control for complications. During this time your daughter can use hot tea, a lot of water, antiflu combination drugs and antitussive. I hope my answer helps you. I wish your daughter a quick recovery.
