What Causes Sore Throat While On Duromine?
Hi there- i am taking duromine, this is the second time i have taken this. Last time i had alot of side effects, by the end of it i could hardly function. this time i am okay, although it seems to have plateued- but im not very hungry. One thing I am concerned about though is i have a sore throat on the left side. Its not swollen just sore, as if i have a throat infection but I have no infection at all. Is this a normal thing to go through?

As far as I know, Duromine has no such side effect like a sore throat. A sore throat has nothing to do with this remedy. Your hunger is suppressed, this its natural habit for which you have been prescribed by your Doctor, to eat less and lose your weight. It is better to consult your doctor.
For a sore throat, I would like to suggest you can do gargles with lukewarm salt water 3-4 times in half an hour gap. Take ginger juice and Honey. Mix well and lick it half at spoon with clean forefinger at 10 minutes gap 4-5 times. It soothes your throat. A dose of Lachesis with two tablespoons of water, a Homeopathic remedy suites left sided infections. If the problem persists consult your doctor.
