What Causes Sore Throat With Pink Eye?

Hi I have had pink eye for over a week, plus a sore throat. I was sick last week with hot cold sweats body aches, extreme tiredness, and respiratory. The respiratory, hot cold sweats, body aches are gone. However, I still have the sore throat, ( I was tested for strep- negative) and pink eye (2 types of drops later). I got the new eye drops day before yesterday.

i would suggest you following thing for sore throat:
> Take amoxicilin/clavulanic acid 625mg thrice a day for 7 days
> Take hot water in a cup, add 1 table spoon salt in it. Perform gargles (mouth wash) with it three times a day for at least 3 days. It will give soothing effect.
> Take acetaminophen for pain.
> use eye drops as already taking.
> Take cetirizine one at night for 5 days.

AVOID:
> Chilled water
> Drinks
> Spicy food
