What Causes Sore Throat?

The other day I participated in physical activity and was boiling got. I then went outside to walk home and when I got home I had a chill. The next morning I woke up with a slight sore throat and still had a chill. The sore throat has got worse What is wrong with me?

The sore throat and chills can be because of the bacterial infection. Nothing to be panic, consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean wile you can take a course of antibiotics like ciprofloxacin and tinidazole combination(if you are not allergic). Do saline gargling.
