Hello,

Sore throat may be due to viral in origin. Blood in sputam may be due to viral bronchitis or pharyngitis.

So don't worry, drink hot water and use water vapour inhalation thrice a day. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625 mg may useful to control secondary bacterial infection.

If symptoms not improved please consult with your physician he will take xray chest and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
