General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
You are complaining of pain present right now.
You can continue following conservative measures-
If swelling present, ice compress for 20 min every 3 hours till swelling subsides.
Take some anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen or naproxen for 3 days.
If there is restrictions of movement along with severe persisting pain with or without swelling at knee joint,X ray knee needs to be taken to rule out ligament injury or fracture.
Hope this information helps.
Thanks and regards.
