What Causes Soreness And Bump On The Right Ankle During Pregnancy?
I am 15 Weeks pregnant and both of my ankles are very sore. I found a hard small grape sized lump under the skin on the back of my right ankle about a week ago and showed it to my CNM today at my routine prenatal visit and she d never seen anything like it before. My left ankle is not swollen but is sore around the ankle bone on the outside of my leg. About an hour ago I discovered that my right ankle on the outside of my leg by the ankle bone is pretty swollen now (wasn t swollen this afternon at dr visit) and it also looks like it is starting to bruise by that area on the outside of ny right ankle where it s swollen. It hurts to walk but not super severe pain yet.

it may be due to obstruction of lymphatics by pressure by gravid uterus with or without pedal edema of pregnancy.. refer your consultant gynecologist
