What Causes Soreness And Itchiness In The Breast After Breast Reduction Surgery?
I had breast reduction surgery @4 weeks ago. My breasts are still sore and red & itchy. The plastic surgeon said he thinks I am allergic to the internal stitches. He said I should take 400 milligrams of ibuprofen 3 time a day, or he could put me on steroids. I declined the steroids but the soreness, itchiness is still bothering me. what else can I do to get relief? Should I go with the steroids?

Regarding your experience of soreness and itching around your breast after a breast reduction surgery i am suggesting yes you are gradually developing autoimmune reaction to the stitches
In view of this I will advise you to start on the steroid therapy
