What Causes Soreness And Swelling In The Ankle After Knee Replacement Surgery?

my husband had knee replacement surgery last monday. he saw the orthopedic surgeon on thursday for check up. the surgeon said he looked good and took out the staples. tonight we are noticing that the other ankle is swollen and sore altho he has no other symptoms like fever or redness. should we go to the emergency room to check for blood clot?

Yes... If u have swelling in your ankle den dis need to check...might be this is bcz of haematoma..
Put your feet on pillow... At the time of bed..
