What Causes Soreness And Tenderness In Breast And Shoulder?

Hi iv had an itchy breast/nipple for 2 months, been using hydrocortisone cream to ease the rash also canesten H, the rash has gone but itching persists. Yesterday my breast became really sore & tender now it hurts to even move my arm. I can feel a small lump thats really sore to touch but so is the whole breast & now my shoulders aching. Im really worried. GP appt tomorrow.

Most breast swellings are caused by an infection of the breast, but it also depends on your age. Breast cancer can also present itself as swelling of the breast, nipple discharge and skin changes among many. It's very smart you called your GP and can get it properly checked out.
