General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The soreness and tenderness are due to bad back you have. Sometimes, due to changes of the back bones and vertebral spine bones, the nearby nerves will get compressed causing soreness and tenderness.

Best therapy until you see your doctor should be:
- try to limit sharp movements
- take magnesium, and analgesic you find over the counter
- apply analgesic cream locally
- physiotherapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
