What Causes Soreness And White Bumps On The Back Of Throat?
I had oral sex two days ago (cunnilingus). Two days have passed and I woke up with a sore throat and whitish tongue tonsils and white bumps on back of throat. Also sore throat exhibits veininess and I can see capillaries. Mouth has whitish his. Spoke to random partner and she says she s clean but I m worried.
Hello, I had gone through your query and understand your concern.
Drinking hot tea, salt water gargling 2 to 3 times a day will help to control sore throat. It is possible that you might have got infection after oral sex. But worry not. Try above mentioned treatment for 2 to 3 days. It will subside.
It is advisable to consult your nearest doctor if your symptoms are not reducing. He may suggest you to go for throat swab. Treatment will be usually based on the results of throat swab.
I hope this helps.
If you have any other queries I'll be happy to help.
Regards, Dr.Prathap Kumar
