What Causes Soreness At The Knuckle Of Thumb?
I have what I describe as a dislocated bone in my left thumb at the knuckle. Normal movement of fingers ie; wiggeling, is replaced by a snapping motion causing soreness if repeated. Thank you... John P. St.Pierre

It would be best for imaging of the hand to be done to assess the bones.
If the changes are significant then your doctor may suggest referral to an orthopedic specialist for assessment.
