What Causes Soreness Back Of Head And Cough With History Of Having Sinus Infection?
I have history of sinus infections of the let side of face. The current one has also involved my ear. I have used saline flushes and nasal spray. Although the sinus seems to be clearing, I have soreness on the back of my head/nek that is especially painful with coughing. I also currently have a dry cough. There is only clear discharge, but I have not had the pain in my head/neck area associated with it before. It does help to put pressure on the area when I cough. Is this most likely due to sinusitis?
Pain and pressure are the primary symptoms of a sinus headache, usually due to the increased inflammation and decreased drainage from the affected sinus cavity. The part of the face in the area of the affected sinus can be tender to touch. The pain can increase with changing position of the head, or when first getting up out of bed, coughing, because of increased pressure within the sinus cavities and the sorrounding areas as well.
So kindly visit an ENT specialist who will help you get the right treatment also alternatively there is a good cure for you problem in homoeopathy so if possible kindly visit a Good Homoeopathic physician at your place!
Wishing you full recovery!
