What Causes Soreness Between Shoulder Blade And Waist?
On my back, right side, between my shoulder blade and waist, has gotten very sore within the last 24 hours. Nothing has happened, just came on and is getting more sore. What is in that part of the body that might be causing this? I'm 58 years old and in generally good health!

Due you get this problem repeatedly....
I am of the opinion that you might be having herpes infection which in its early stage presents with severe pain in a particular segment of area followed by eruptions of multiple painful blisters along the distribution of the small nerves.
Tab Paracetamol 500 mg three times daily orally and Acyclovir ointment to be applied to the affected area will control the infection.
