General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

1. Is there any pain in any area?
2. Is there any abnormality in the tongue?
3. Please specify if you are on any medication?

I would also like to see the picture of your tongue to get a more clear idea.

I would also request you to do these tests:

1. Serum ferritin
2. Complete Blood Test
3. Test for Rheumatoid Factor and anti-citrullinated protein antibodies.
4. Nerve Conduction Studies
5. As you especially said about Knee, one Knee X-Ray is also recommended.

Finding a balance between rest and exercise is crucial to managing rheumatoid arthritis. When your symptoms flare up — when your joints are sore, warm and swollen — take it easy and rest.

You can continue to do range-of-motion exercises to keep your joints mobile, but be careful not to tire yourself or aggravate your joints. Avoid unnecessary walking, housework or other activities.

When your joints feel better and when other symptoms, including fatigue and morning stiffness, are less noticeable, increase your activity.

Weight-bearing exercises such as walking and lifting weights can strengthen weakened muscles without risking additional joint damage. If exercise produces more pain or joint swelling, cut back a bit.

Please post another question with tests results and answers to above questions. A doctor here in HealthcareMagic.com will follow you up. We have highly skilled doctors here. Do not worry as you are under good supervision.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
