What Causes Soreness In Groin 6 Weeks After Childbirth?

Hi i had a baby 6 weeks ago and i went for my 6 week check up and he gave me the ok but i still feel like i have the stiches i had a 2 deg tear. Like i feel fine but i feel still sore down there and like when ever i go to pee or just sit or walk it hurts at the very top down there is it normal? This is my first kid

Hello,

It takes time to heal completely after operation. Your skin might get abnormal sensations as during surgery they have to cut down the superficial nerves. As long as the wound appears healthy with no discharge of any sort and you are urinating properly with no dysuria you do not need to worry about your wound.
