What Causes Soreness In Mouth And Throat Along With Sensitivity To Heat?

I have had a sore just inside my nasal cavity for about a week and yesterday my mouth started feeling sore inside and sensitive to hot foods and drinks or any foods with texture and my throat gets a little sore too. My mouth also feels like it has sores/scratches in it. What is causing this?

Hi

As it seems you might be having an acute attack of upper respiratory tract infection. These are mostly viral in origin and self limiting and in adults doesn't require antibiotics, unless there are signs of bacterial infection. All that is needed is symptomatic relief. Gargle with luke warm saline water, steam inhalation, paracetamol would suffice.
