Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My Husband is complaining of a very sore forearm. He had not injured it to my knowledge. He was doing some bookwork when his arm started hurting. No visible sign of any injury. No other physical symptoms other than he says his arm just feels tired.
As per given history, I doubt it's Ulnar nerve compression. Let me explain. People who do work while sitting on desk as you said he was doing some book work, so more likely he was put pressure on inner side of his elbow. And Ulnar nerve just passes above the bone at same point.
Because of the compression he can feel nerve pain along with frequent numbness on his one and half fingers which are little and ting finger. If it's a case, than it's a Ulnar nerve compression.
Treatment:
Avoid sitting in such posture and take any Vitamin B complex medicine for few days along with pain killer when required. Wishing him healthy life.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Best Regards, Dr Zeeshan
