I hit my head hard 2 days ago but didn t black out or vomit afterwards. I was always fine afterwards but had been drinking. my head is sore still but wasn t sure if that was somethint to worry about. Since brain bleeds can occur anytime and I may not know

Yes, you are right.
Brain heamorrhage can occur after a lag period.
So better to get done screening CT brain.
If this is normal then no need to worry for brain heamorrhage.
Musculoskeletal pain is more likely in your case.
So apply warm water pad and ice packs alternatively on head.
Take painkiller and anti inflammatory drugs.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these in 1 week but better to rule out internal brain injury.
