Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have some soreness in my lower back and noticed that it is noticeable while sitting. I don t really notice it walking around. I thought at first that it may be a kidney infection, however there is no discomfort when urinating or any noticeable discolor or odor to it. I feel the pain in my hips and thighs also. It is very minor but its most intense when getting up from sitting.
You should rule out arthritis of lumbar spine or hip joint. For that I suggest lumbosacral spine X-ray and hip joint X-ray. Your detailed neurological examination also should be done. According to cause specific treatment given. I suggest you consult orthopedic surgeon for examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
