What Causes Soreness On Heel And Numbness Below Knee?

pressure sore on the heel have it a year an a half..4 ins by 3..been on drip for 6 weeks last december am now back on the same drip this man is 71 ..left leg amputee,right leg is bad ..dropped foot ,no feeling below the kneehas a lot of medical problums ie..by pass,epeleptic tia..an a lot more ..do u think keep the foot or get rid of it..he doesnt know what to do?

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. As this man is having pressure sore from nearly one and half years.There is no sensation on leg and foot. It seems to be useless limb with non healing ulcer. It seems to me that amputation will be better.However it will be better to be clinically assessed by your doctor/orthopedist and take the decision.You can discuss with your doctor about it.
