What Causes Soreness On Lower Left Ribcage Area?

Sore lower left ribcage area. Uncomfortable when stretching or reaching,twisting to my right or if lying on left side feels muscular but also hardish lump on either bottom or second bottom left rib to the side which feels like bone but can't feel the same on other side 30 male smoker

This seems to be muscular pain, may be stretched muscle.
Apply hot compress.
Apply local analgesic anti inflammatory gel.
Take Ibuprofen.
If not relieved , see a doctor.
