What Causes Soreness On My Back And Around The Ribs?

Hi I recently sufffered a miscarriage at about 7 weeks gestation and lost a lot of blood and clots for the first two days. The bleeding carried on for about a week and now it has stopped, the scans show only a small bit of tissue is still there and it should come away on its own but I am having really bad pains. On day 6 I couldnt keep any food down and my back was very sore. Now the pain is slightly less but my back and around my ribs are very sore and tender it hurts to bend and pick anything up. I tested positive for strep B but they say I am not infected as I would have smelly discharge. Is this normal to still be sore a week and a half later?
