What Causes Sores At The Corner Of The Mouth?

Can you explain what the mouth or lip sores look like caused from Vyvance? I just started it a week ago. Woke up a couple days ago with a mouth full. I am prone to kanker sores due to night teeth grinding and sleeping on my face. Sauce and acid related foods also cause them. The one Im concerned with is on my lip in the corner. Im not sexually active with anyone so I pretty much would rule out the herpes.. Looking for an opinion.. Thanks

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.

Read and understood your history and concerns.
From the history you have provided this is not Vyvance. This is called Angular Stomatitis and you have recurrent stomatitis.
I would advise you to consult a Surgeon- General and ENT to get a perfect diagnosis.
Get your colitis treated with a 5-day course of an antibiotic and metronidazole . Continue the Multi-vitamins, Folic acid for 1 to 3 months if you do not want recurrence.
I find this answer helpful
