Hi doc. I get sores on my scalp. They seem like zits but grow bigger. They burst blood and puss. They come in cycles. Then I get some on my chest and grow. They hurt and I can pop them like zits but they are the size of peanuts. My V A dock gave me some medicated shampoo that don t work. What say u??? YYYY@YYYY

If you are a diabetic or even not you must check for fasting blood sugar level because your symptoms are related to pre diabetes or early diabetes. You must also avoid oil or oil based cream on tour body and scalp. Try to have shower regularly and also take plenty of fluids. During mean time you need to take antibiotics like Amoxycilin 500mg trice daily for a week. Hope my answer will help you.
