What Causes Sores On Vagina Area While Taking Bactrim For UTI?
Recently went to the doctor and was diagnosed with a bad UTI. I am on Bactrim right now. I ve noticed some sores in my vagina area. They are not pussy, or itchy, but leave me feeling uncomfortable. I have never had a UTI or anything like this before. Could it be because I shave with a razor in that area?

Soreness can simply.occur during a UTI, but if at all while having the UTI you have shaved the region, this can not only cause the soreness you are experiencing but also aggravate the UTI making things worse or making treatment until now pointless. Hygiene is of course important and I always advocate removal of hair in the pubic region for good hygiene, but just wait until a week after the course of antibiotics is complete and only then shave the region, and not during.

I understand your concern.
The reason why you are be having soreness in vaginal area could be due to reaction of the vaginal mucosa for associated urinary tract infection (UTI).
Kindly continue with the treatment you are on for UTI. You can wash the area with warm water twice everyday along with mild antiseptic solution like Savlon. You can apply Neomycin cream on sore areas following drying. Keep the area clean and hygienic.
Avoid shaving the part till the symptoms subside completely.
