My daughter passes out every time she vomits. This happens several times and on occasion she spasms a little. The first time it happened she was three years old. On e year later she had a more serious event because she inhaled the vomit and went into a coma. At the time she was diagnosed with epilepsy but vasovagol was the final diagnosis. Fortunately she is healthy and has rarely been sick. Each time , though, she has ended up in hospital and has taken several days to get her blood pressure back to normal.
She is now a doctor and 6 weeks pregnant. Ahe has been advised to have a pacemaker for the diuration of the pregnancy but she does not want this. So far she is fine despite a little nausea in the morning.
What concerns me is the delivery. What effect will the contractions have on her? Is there any danger to the baby?
