Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
When I lie down and turn on right side, the right side around temple area, when I close my eyes, has an extreme almost like spasm like and almost like I were going to pass out feeling I have to close my eyes tight and let the feeling go away. Took bp and it was high. Would this be causing this feeling, which started about a week ago?
As per your clinical history is concerned, please follow like this:
1) Do take medication for blood pressure and do a clinical examination by your Doctor [Neurologist] and to confirm do few tests like [MRI scan and cerebral angiogram].
2) Do take permanent treatment as per investigation report.
2) Try to eat a healthy diet and exercise. Changes in diet and exercise can help lower blood pressure.
3) Try to limit caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant that can cause a sudden increase in blood pressure.
4) Try to avoid straining. Sudden, a forceful and sustained exertion of the type you expend when you lift heavy weights can cause a sudden increase in blood pressure.
