What Causes Spasms In The Arms While On Amlopidine Besylate?
have been taking Amlopidine Besylate , started with 5mg then blood pressure dropped really low. then put on 1/2 2.5. all was good until about 2 week ago i started with spasm of the upper arms and shoulder. i have sever pain in joints of elbow and knees. all of this keeps my arms and legs moving and then the pain unbearable. tried ice, heat, and ben gay, etc. last nite a nite mare of pain and movement. fell asleep at 6 am from exhaultion. had some mild reaction all day and then night and here we go again.
I have read your question and here is my advice. These symptoms does not look to be related to Amlodpine. These more look like a viral infection however there are other possibilities like autoimmune diseases or bacterial infection.
Though you can use paracetamol for pain relief at the moment but do see your doctor for proper assessment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
General & Family Physician
