What Causes Spasms In The Back Muscles?

I have what seems to be a back muscle spasm that started with a nut on my left side almost half way between buttocks and top of my left shoulder. It s been almost two months and the nut is still there but it is now spreading to my left rib cage. The pain is often sharp and makes me dizzy. I had a message done but it seems the condition got worse. What do I need to do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Any overstrain may cause muscle pain. Do you have any swelling over the region?

I suggest you consult an Orthopedician with MRI lower back till then I advise you to take Tab. Myospas.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Indhu Priyadharshini,
