General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
The Slight bleeding that occurs after coitus suggest the tear of the hymen which is a membrane covering the inside of the vagina. It is quite common during first intercourse. The bleeding is also self limiting and indicates defloration in the virgins.
Additionally, I also suggest you to use an emergency contraceptive like i pill to avoid unwanted and unplanned pregnancy. I also suggest you to seek medical attention if the bleeding continues.
Hope this helps.
