What Causes Speech Difficulty After Taking Oleanz And Lonazep?

My wife was not having acute stress and not having sleep..she is being precribed Oleanz 5mg and Lonazep 0.5 mg. but after taking this medicines at night she was not able to speak properly in the morning and it took her around two to three hours in the morning to come back to normal and she is not having aute pain on right side forehead which goes to ear.. please advice

Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. Olanzapine is an antipsychotic drug but in low doses the drug is also used in severe acute stress. Lonazap is Clonazepam and the drug is known to cause sedation and drowsiness. Taking both these drugs together has resulted in the symptoms she is showing. Though the doses are very low still in some individuals these doses can cause significant drowsiness. The morning headache and pain she is facing is also due to these doses. Please consult her doctor again and ask for reevaluation of prescription. Reduced doses of Clonazepam would prevent these side effects.
