I had a bad case of serotonin syndrome about a year ago from a combination of Tramadol, Celexa and Amatriptaline - it morphed into what my doctors call poly-pharmacutical toxicity - I am still having a lot of effects that seem to be permanent - In the hospital I had seizures and sudden onset sensory processing disorders w/ hypersensitivity to sound, light, smells etc. - also I was unable to speak clearly for quite a while - I took speech and cognitive therapy for about 6 months but still speak with an acquired foreign accent and it get s worse with lack of sleep and/or stress. I remain hypersensitive to sensory input, hypervigilant, unable to use most medications especially for pain or anti-depressants and am fully disabled at this time - is there anything I can do?
