What Causes Spike In BP And Appetite Loss?

My mother in law has had a sudden spike in blood pressure. She is 81. At its worst it was 192/115. She has been in and out of the er. She presents the doctor with a lack of appetite and and weakness sort of like she has low blood sugar. EKG of heart has been done as well as many other tests. The doctor shrugs his shoulders and sends her home with meds to lower blood pressure including water pill. Her weakness and blood pressure spikes continue. She comes back to the er. No answers. We are going to an internal medicine doctor today but what could this be:.

Dear friend,fluctuation and sudden rise of blood pressure is really common in this age group.but as a family you have to keep a constant vigil on blood pressure because sudden high blood pressure can rupture our brailn blood vessels causing paralysis.kn this case ,I suppose the dose or even the type of antihypertensive medicine should be changex ,so that your mom-in-law can achieve a good blood pressure profile.
