What Causes Spitting Blood Along With Head Pressure And Dizziness?

I have been spitting blood now for about 8 months. I constantly taste blood in my mouth and when I spit out I get pure blood until my saliva becomes clear which normally lasts for 30mins. I also get terrible head pressure and dizziness. I have been to ER on two occasions, had an MRI and CT scan of the brain, 3 chest x-rays and an endoscopy (to see if the blood is coming from my stomach). Nothing has been found. my brain feels foggy, heavy and sometimes pain coming from the brain stem and cerebellum with headaches.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have blood in saliva along with head pressure and dizziness. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like acid reflux , sinusitis or ear infection . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order nasal endoscopy , CT scan along with physical examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like amoxicillin at least for a week along with expectorant and decongestant . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenetrologist for acid reflux problem . For now do warm saline gargles and nasal rinses , apply dry warm compresses to ear and avoid bending forward .
