I just had my tonsils remove along with my adnoids 5 days ago and today i had to go to the e.r for spitting up small amounts of blood and being dehydrated. I had to see my surgeon later today which he looked at my throat and found where it had bled then used silver nightrate to fix it up. He also said I could start eating soft foods now because of my progress. I had been craving hot dogs and he said I could eat it. But when i ate one for dinner pieces got stuck in my left side and built up and now it is very uncomfortable and it is touching where my surgeon used the silver nightrate. I cant get it out because i am scared i will do it wrong causing it to scrap and perhaps cause my wounds to bleed. Should I go to a nearby emergency room? And would they be able to help me? I havent been having any pain all day and now it is hurting extremely bad.
