What Causes Splenic Cysts?

I had an abdominal ultrasound in April and 2 Splenic cysts were found. I am wondering if I should see my doctor before my next appointment in Sept. I am concerned about these cysts. My dr said she doesn t know the causes of Splenic cysts and they could possibly be due to an injury or trauma. Only thing I can remember is having Mono in 2001 ( which can cause an enlarged Spleen). Should I talk see her ASAP or just wait it out, I am not having any discomfort or pain.

I really appreciate your concern, most probable cause of enlarge spleen could be infection and anemia and some time idiopathic too, clinical symptoms would be matter of concern, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day
