What Causes Sponge Like Bump Inside Nostril?

Hi I have found this sponge like bump on the inside wall of one of my nostrils. It is kind of far in my nose but I know that it has not always been there. I've had allergy issues lately. Is the bump because of this? And when I look in the mirror that nostril is more closed than the other.

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding sponge like bomp in one nostril.

As you have described the view of bump, it appears as you are sufferring from nasal polyp most likely Anterochoanal polyp. I have told this diagnosis because your bump is on one side only and other type of nasal polypis Ethmoidal polyp they are more often involves both side nasal cavity.

Above possibility may be confirm by thorough examination and C.T.Scan of paranasal sinuses. So my advice is to consult your ENT doctor for necessary treatment.

Regards.
