Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 46 years old and sometimes, intermittently, one of my eyelids droops and stays that way for a while. I smoke pot on occasion as a natural alternative and that triggers the drooping, too. Is there a medical remedy for this? How do I know when it s serious enough to see a doctor. It usually corrects itself within an hour or two, but it comes and goes.
Intermittent dropping of the eyelids might be an indicator of Myasthenia grevis or a manifestation of some another neuro-muscular disorder. See a neurologist immediately.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ajeet Singh, General & Family Physician
