What Causes Sporadic Episodes Of Fainting?

I HAVE HAD 2 PERIODS OF= BRIEF BLACK OUTS. The first one about 2 years ago and then again last night. Both have happened while I was driving and resulted in my car running into side of road and hitting a ditch (1) and a stone wall (2). I am wondering what physician should I see to help me with this.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should start with a heart specialist (cardiologist) to evaluate your cardiovascular system and to rule out possible cardiovascular event.

Plus, should also follow up with a neurologist to rule out neurological diseases and disorders.

For the moment, keep monitoring your blood pressure and sugar levels, record the results for reference.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
