What Causes Sporadic Pain In Lower Abdomen After Giving Child Birth?

Hello, I ve been experiencing a sparatic pain on the lower right side of my abdomen (right side of my belly button, between my belly button and my hip bone). I m not sure if maybe it s my ovaries or if it could be my appendix or something to do with the cesarean I had 4 months ago.... Anything I could probably rule out? I got my first postpartum period last month, but didn t get it this month, although I did have menstrual like cramping, just no bleeding... I EBF, so I wasn t even expecting my period to appear last month.

Hello,

Sporadic pain on lower side of abdomen associated with menstruation could be due to uterine spasm. I suggest you to take anti-spasmodic medication after consulting your gynecologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
