Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
with sporotrix schenkii, can you get this from all roses or is it prominent in one type more than others? My sister has this on her left pointer finger and my mom had it on her left ring finger, they were working in knockout roses. I on the other hand work in my roses all the time but I do not have any knockout roses. What is your opinion.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Sporothrix is a fungus. Spores are present all over in environment, in soil, in moss or decomposing plant parts like rosebushes. They enter the human body through scratches.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
