What Causes Spot On Upper Left Heart Lobe That Shows Up On X-ray Report?
Husband has a spot on his upper left lobe. Large enough that it showed up on a chest x-ray. PET Scan showed low activity. Pulmonologist is doing another CT in 3 months to see if it has grown. I can no useful information regarding low activity . He did tell us that there are 2 types of CA that would show up as low. He does not believe that my husband s Sarcoidosis has returned. What else could this be?
1. There are two types of as he said good and bad, benign / malignant. 4. No active process suggest there is no findings suggest active process - like collection. 5. Your doctor reaction regarding sarcoidosis is because its a diffuse process - not localized. 6.This can be a focal consolidation - which can be confirmed on repeat scan - if it resolves.
