Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Is he having any other symptoms like fever? Are the lesions itchy?

If no fever, raised lesions which are not fluid filled can suggest an urticaria (will be itchy), a contact dermatitis or a purpura. Urticaria will respond to antihistamines, calamine lotion and occasionally steroids. Purpura need further evaluation to rule out conditions like HSP (Henoch-Schonlein purpura). Kindly show it to your pediatrician.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
