What Causes Spots On The Penis After Unprotected Sexual Intercourse?
Hello, I am 30 yrs old and I did have some unprotected sexual partners (females) recently. On one of the occasion I had very rough and lengthy sex. The following day I notice some irritation in my pubic hair area. After a few days I notice a small cut/cold sore looking things at the base of my penis. I now have recently notice that the dry skin around pubic area has cleared but now have some same sores. In the morning it looks all dried up, but after I m done with work, it all looks moist and fresh again? Any advice?
Cold sore on genitalia could be due to sexually transmitted disease (STD). I suggest you to consult your dermatologist for clinical assessment and relevant investigation and thus diagnosis. In the meanwhile, I suggest you to avoid unprotected sex with anyone.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
