Hello,
You have history of having migraine. Formation of swelling on the head or eye of the affected side commonly happen in migraine and also in cluster or
tension headache. Forehead or facial sweating on the affected side is also seen in some individuals. Pale skin (pallor) or flushing on the face or drooping eyelid on the affected side may occur in severe untreated migraine and may be indicative of developing
neuralgia.
If during headache pain radiates to the back of the neck or head, it needs evaluation. Severe
headaches may be indicative of serious medical problems like
brain tumor, TIA, aneurysms, etc. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get routine blood work, CT / MRI and required investigations done so that the pathology is detected and treatment started at the earliest.
Take home made nutritious food rich in vitamin B6, B12,
vitamin C and K, etc. Stay away from addictions if any. Maintain correct posture while sitting, standing or sleeping. Stay adequately hydrated and do regular walking and stretch exercises.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
